Newsletter - April 2010 (Previous Newsletters: Sep '09, Feb '09, Dec '08, Sep '08, Jan '08, Mar '07) I totally forgot to post pictures of our Miss Bella this fall. I have been taking care of Bella and two other little boys who are turning one year old in March and April. So I have been a bit busy to say the least. In February I had surgery on my heart again. I am SO hoping this will do the trick. I have tried so hard to be creative with designing and at times I will be honest it isn't that easy; however I stepped out of my comfort zone (aka box) and created a few sampler style class models for this teaching year. It was a challenge as my mind and heart is really geared for hardanger, yet I enjoyed it all the same. I am posting a few photos of Bella June -who turned four years old in March. She is a fascinating, amazing, exhausting, wonderful, mind boggling little angel…..and as her grandma I am going to take a moment to brag. She knows the Lords Prayer for memory. So if you ever need any "daily breast" call upon that prayer. She also ends the prayer "for thy is the kindom, the power and the girly for ever" which by this time I am holding back little tears of pride. She also knows "Amazing Grace" her mommy sings that to her for a lullaby at night. She knows it word for word - however her ending is slightly different "I was blonde and now I sing" The photo of her in her first dance recital too-too is a hoot. She told me "Grandma - ya know - you can't put your dance shoes on UNTIL you get to dance class" ….so I guess the frog boots will have to do. If I make it through that dance recital it will be a miracle….can't forget a box of Kleenex. Thanks again as always for visiting our website.
